Carbon pollution?
We have heard it hundreds of times in the past few days from Gillard and other proponents of the Australian “carbon tax”.
They mean, of course, carbon dioxide “pollution”?
Do they truly not understand that without carbon dioxide we would have no photosynthesis?
Do they truly not understand that with no photosynthesis there would be no plants for us and animals anywhere on the planet?
Do they truly not understand that all life – human, animal, vegetable – on Earth is carbon-based?
